I think I died and went to sandwich heaven……seriously though, Izzys Original Reuben is the stuff of legends. Words cant describe it, you just need to go in and try it sometime. Im hungry just thinking about it!!!!
Came here about 3 years ago while knocking of Great American Ballpark on my list of all ballparks across America. Hands down the best Reuben sandwich Ive ever had, and as a New Yorker I know Reuben sandwiches. Would love to come back again in the future

Izzy’s is a great place. a staple of downtown Cincy. They are known for their Ruben. However I recommend the Izzy’s Mex (spicier Ruben) or “The Suzzy” which is turkey and cranberry-orange relish with cream cheese… it’s better than it sounds.

Awesome server! Beef and barley soup was great even by itself. Ruben and potato cakes were nice going with it. Also enjoyed the carrot cake. Recommended to anyone passing through the Cincinnati area!
