Anytime The New York Times mentions your restaraunt is a good day! On Sunday, August 24, George Vecsey, a sports reporter for the Times, published a great article about Cincinnati as a "good old baseball city" and properly exclaims Izzy's "a grand Cincinnati tradition."

“Mmm Reubens! I come here for a quick lunch and they are super friendly and prompt. I like to get the reuben salad. It is quite large and a very cool take on the traditional sandwich. It is jam packed with "good" lettuce, sauerkraut, grated swiss cheese, corned beef, chopped pickles, and topped with their homemade thousand island dressing. The cool finishing touch is rye bread croutons which seem to be homemade. They also have good sweet tea! ”
