Aaron's Food Adventure

Izzy's is a sandwich deli shop located in Cincinnati, Ohio. About two months ago, they were featured on the Travel Channel's hit series "Man v. Food Nation," where one MvF Nation member attempted to eat the "110 Reuben," a massive 5+ pound Reuben sandwich. I ventured to the original Main Street location, the site of the MvF Nation taping.

I loved the melted Swiss cheese here, and even better that they used a broiler to melt that bad boy down. The dressing (probably 1000 Island or something similar?) has that sweet component that combines perfectly with the drained sauerkraut. So yes, I know my fellow Yelp buddy "Chuck B" would enjoy this sandwich... Read More.

  • “Love Izzy's Reuben's and Potato Cakes. This is the closest to my house. I live in Goshen but it's worth the drive. Had to make a special trip there for St. Paddy's Day. Great customer service. And great food. They have the best Potato Cakes in town.”

  • “Had some quests from Columbus area and Andrian, MI and wanted to take them to a "local" restaurant. My grandson and I decided Izzy's in Forest Park was the choice. They LOVED it. First the delicious pickles and then the famous Ruben and potato pancake. The waitress was great, very friendly and we enjoyed her conversation with our questions. They were very impressed with the food and her. I wish I knew her name but she was the only waitress there. Then even bought a jar of pickles to take home.”

  • “Heaven on a plate.  Cant go wrong with just about any sandwich, but the Reuben is my favorite!”
