Izzy’s Voted Best Chicken Noodle Soup in Cincinnati

We have once again claimed the title of best chicken noodle soup in Cincinnati!  The Wise Brother’s Temple had their chicken noodle soup cook off of corporate and individual contestants, and Izzy’s once again claimed the title of Best Chicken Noodle Soup.  In addition, we placed runner up for ‘Best Matzo Ball Soup’.  Congrats to our chef, Brian, who makes all of our soups homemade daily to send to each of our Izzy’s locations!

We’re Moving Down the Street!

We are moving our Florence, KY store down the street!  The new location, located at 7651 Mall Rd. will be opening this January.  The new stand-alone store, next door to Chuck-E-Cheese, will have an easy in-and-out, being between 2 stop lights both before and after the storefront on Mall Rd.

The location will feature its own drive-thru, ample parking, heated outdoor patio, beautiful interior finishes, with a cool, retro exterior look.

We are very excited to open the new store up, as we have closed our former location next to Starbucks.  You will find us open the coming week with a January 31st anticipated open date.  See ya soon!

Bengal King Joe Burrow

Introducing ‘The Bengal King’ aka ‘The Joe Burrow’

We are excited to honor Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow with his own sandwich, The Bengal King.

The sandwich is an overstuffed reuben served on grilled marble rye with a potato pancake and pickles for $11.99. Izzy’s famous corned beef, fresh sauerkraut, 1000 island dressing and melted imported Swiss cheese are combined and served on ‘striped’ marble rye and comes with Izzy’s famous potato pancake

“Joe finished his collegiate career as a Bayou Bengal and is ready to start his professional career as a Cincinnati Bengal,” says our President, John Geisen. “Izzy’s and the City of Cincinnati are excited to welcome Joe and what better way to do so than by having one of Cincinnati’s longest standing restaurants giving him his own sandwich.”
